ABSTRACT
Summary: Abstract: Poland’s 25th anniversary of joining the North Atlantic Alliance evokes certain reflections and conclusions. The Polish Armed Forces play an increasingly important role in NATO and their impact on the capabilities to lead NATO’s defensive operations is growing, i.a. due to their enhanced interoperability with allied armed forces. These dynamic changes occur in an era of a deteriorating security situation in Europe. These changing circumstances generate recommendations on further development of allied command structures in Poland, continued enhancement of allied military infrastructure, enhanced manning of allied positions by Poland, enhancement of assignment rotations and mobility of the cadre, further development of English language training, and some other developments of the Polish Armed Forces.
