Mission of the journal

 
The National Security Quarterly is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that aims at advancing knowledge and highlighting theoretical and practical aspects in the field of security and defence.

It includes high quality articles on multidisciplinary issues of national security and defence, focusing in particular on the issues of:
  • integrating the national security management system, including the management of state defence;
  • creating a modern system of national resilience;
  • strengthening the operational deterrence and defence capabilities of the Polish Armed Forces;
  • strengthening the capabilities of the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union to ensure the security of the Republic of Poland and the Euro-Atlantic area;
  • developing international cooperation that strengthens Poland's position on the world stage.

It disseminates and deepens knowledge and public awareness of the security of Poland and Poles, as well as supports the President of the Republic of Poland and state authorities in practical activities aimed at shaping the national security system, including military and non-military security and non-military security.

It initiates discussion and contributes to the practical creation of laws, concepts and plans concerning in particular the improvement of the integrated national security system.
